Identity

In the garden, sorting stones, May 2015.

Me: Thanks, baby.

2y: Not a baby.

Me: Sorry, no of course you’re not a baby. Are you a big girl?

2y: I not a baby. I not a big girl.

Me: Hmmm. So, not a baby and not a big girl. What are you then?
