Today, a blog post is both a delight and a cause of just a small twinge of jealousy: Lisa Fagin Davis on the New Bedford Book of Hours. Not only does she go to town on this lovely MS with erudition and enthusiasm, she writes with a lightness of touch that, even if I weren’t a lapsed medievalist, I would find enviable.
